Analysis of imaging characteristics and value of MRI combined with colour ultrasound for the diagnosis of prostate space occupying lesions
Objective To analyze the imaging characteristics and diagnostic value of MRI combined with color Doppler ul-trasound(hereinafter referred to as"color ultrasound")in the diagnosis of prostate space occupying lesions. Methods A total of 64 patients with suspected prostate cancer admitted to the Department of General Surgery of People's Hospital of Rehabil-itation of Weifang City from February to December 2023 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into group A(32 cases)and group B(32 cases)according to random number table method.Group A was examined by MRI combined with color ultrasound, and group B was examined by MRI.Pathological diagnosis was used as the gold standard to compare the diagnostic accuracy of the two groups. Results Among 64 patients,44 were malignant and 20 were benign. The diagnostic accuracy of MRI combined with color ultrasound was 96.88%,higher than that of MRI alone(75.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion MRI combined with color ul-trasound has high diagnostic value for prostate space occupying lesions, and has important clinical application value, which is worthy of active promotion and use in clinical work.
