Chromosome karyotype analysis of 4 536 infertile women
Objective Through the analysis of chromosome karyotype in peripheral blood of female infertility patients,the re-lationship between chromosome abnormality and female infertility was discussed.Methods A total of 4 536 female infertility patients admitted to No.73 Army Hospital of the People's Liberation Army from May 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.Venous blood of the patients was collected for peripheral blood lymphocyte culture,and G-banding karyotype analysis was performed after production.Results Among the 4 536 female infertility patients,211 cases of abnor-mal chromosome karyotype were detected,including 28 cases of autosomal abnormality,6 cases of sex chromosome abnor-mality and 177 cases of chromosome polymorphism.Conclusion Chromosomal abnormalities are closely related to female infertility.Karyotype analysis of women of childbearing age is helpful to diagnose the etiology and guide eugenics.
