Correlation between role pressure and professional identity of junior nurses and the influencing factors of their professional identity
Objective To analyze the correlation between role pressure and professional identity of junior nurses,and to ex-plore the influencing factors of professional identity.Methods A total of 158 nurses with low senility were selected from Zhongshan Hospital Xiamen University in November 2023 by convenient sampling method.The general information,profes-sional identity scale and role stress scale were used to investigate junior nurses.Pearson method was used to analyze the correlation between role stress and professional identity,and multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of professional identity.Results The total score of role stress of junior nurses was(52.21±12.94)points,which was at a low level.The professional identity total score was(118.78+16.06)points,in above the average level.The role stress overall and each dimension and the professional identity and a negative correlation between each dimension(r=-0.706 to-0.155),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),Multiple linear regression analysis showed that family re-lationships(B=6.693,95%CI:2.104 to 11.281,β=0.164,t=2.882),whether in public health emergencies(B=3.973,95%CI:0.095 to 7.851,β=-0.124,t=2.024),role ambiguity(B=-21.293,95%CI:-25.594 to-16.993,β=-0.601,t=-9.782),role conflict(B=-2.982,95%CI:-5.773 to 0.191,β=-0.121,t=-2.111)were the main influencing factors of professional iden-tity.Conclusion Reducing the role ambiguity,role conflict and good family relationship of junior nurses are conducive to enhancing their professional identity.Managers should focus on junior nurses who have family relationship problems,have not participated in public health emergencies,and have high role stress,strengthen scientific management,reduce the level of role stress,enhance professional emotion,and promote the stable development of the nursing team.
