Objective To investigate the effects of Xuebijing Injection on levels of inflammatory factors and sequential organ failure assessment(SOFA)score in patients with sepsis.Methods A total of 91 patients with sepsis from Xinyu Beihu Hos-pital of Jiangxi Province from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group(n=46)and study group(n=45)according to random number method.The control group was treated with conventional West-ern medicine in accordance with sepsis guidelines,and the study group was treated with Xuebijing Injection on this basis.The levels of inflammatory factors,coagulation function and prognosis(SOFA,acute physiology and chronic health status score Ⅱ[APACHE Ⅱ])of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the interleukin-6(IL-6),procalcitonin(PCT),prothrombin time(PT),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),activated partial thrombin time(APTT),D-dimer,throm-bin time(TT),score of APACHE Ⅱ and score of SOFA in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the dif-ferences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of Xuebijing Injection in the treatment of sep-sis can improve the coagulation function,inhibit the expression of inflammatory factors and improve the prognosis of patients.
