Objective To explore the therapeutic effect on acupuncture of Lingshu Kaihe bone-setting in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with cold-dampness blockage pattern.Methods A total of 110 patients with knee osteoarthritis with cold-dampness blockage pattern in Hebei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into treatment group and control group according to random num-ber table method,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture and massage,and the treatment group was treated with acupuncture of Lingshu Kaihe bone-setting.Visual analogue scale(VAS)score,West-ern Ontario and McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index(WOMAC)score,interleukin-1(IL-1)and tumor necrosis fac-tor-α(TNF-α)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results After treatment,VAS score,WOMAC score,IL-1 and TNF-α in two groups were lower than before,and VAS score,WOMAC score,IL-1 and TNF-αin the treatment group were lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The clinical effect of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion For patients with knee osteoarthritis with cold-dampness blockage pattern,the clinical effect on acupuncture of Lingshu Kaihe bone-setting is higher than that of ordinary acupuncture and massage treatment,which has better effects in reducing inflammatory indexes,im-proving function and relieving symptoms,and the operation is more convenient and the time is significantly shortened.
