Objective To investigate the clinical effect of modified Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction in the treatment of un-stable angina pectoris(UAP).Methods A total of 100 UAP patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Uni-versity of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into experimental group(n=50)and control group(n=50)according to random number table method.The con-trol group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the experimental group was treated with conventional western medicine combined with modified Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction.The therapeutic effect,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,heart function and myocardial injury marker levels of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)of experimental groups were higher than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).TCM syndrome score,left ventricular end-systolic diame-ter(LVESD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),cardiac troponin(cTn),B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)and creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)levels of experimental groups were lower than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant MB(P＜0.05).Conclusion Modified Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction has a remarkable effect in the treatment of UAP,which can improve the heart function and blood lipid level,reduce the TCM syndrome score,and reduce the degree of disease damage.
