Objective To analyze the distribution characteristics of voluntary blood donation in Ningde City,and to provide the basis for formulating the propaganda and recruitment strategy of voluntary blood donation.Methods The data of volun-tary blood donors from January 2018 to December 2022 were analyzed,and 2 000 questionnaires of intention to donate blood were distributed to investigate and analyze the publicity and recruitment of blood donors.Results There were a total of 79630 whole blood donors in Ningde City from 2018 to 2022,of which 64.70%were male donors and 35.29%were female donors.The age of 26-<36 years old had the highest proportion of blood donors,accounting for 33.2%,which was the main group of blood donors.The questionnaire survey of blood donation publicity and recruitment showed that the public was more likely to accept the recruitment method of new media,and the rights that blood donors hope to enjoy was the three ex-emptions policy.Conclusion Male blood donors were more than female blood donors in Ningde area,and the proportion of blood donors aged 18-<26 years old was increasing year by year,and the trend was younger.According to the data analysis,gender,age and education background were all factors that affect the behavior of blood donation.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the publicity and recruitment of the population through new media recruitment,increase the popularization of blood donation knowledge in rural areas,strengthen the incentive measures for blood donation,and improve the regional blood donation rate.
