Under the requirements of the new era,ideological and political education in the curriculum,as the foundation of moral education,should be integrated into the entire process of vocational education.The ophthalmology major has the char-acteristics of rapid development,strong practicality,and a wide service population,which puts forward new requirements for the comprehensive quality of students.Taking this as an opportunity,this article takes the optometry technology major as an example to integrate ideological and political education into the disciplinary system,teaching system,textbook system,and management system.By improving talent training programs,innovating the"three education"reform mode,improving teach-er teaching ability,and revising the curriculum ideological and political evaluation system,a systematic curriculum ideologi-cal and political teaching system is established from multiple aspects and dimensions to adapt to the teaching reform re-quirements of the current economic era and comprehensively improve the quality of talent training.
