Observation on the therapeutic effect of Xiangfu and Raphani Seed Heat Therapy Package on gastrointestinal pacing points in patients with ab-dominal distension after painless colonoscopy examination
Objective To explore the role of Xiangfu and Raphani Seed Heat Therapy Package in the action of gastrointestinal pacing points on abdominal distension after painless colonoscopy.Methods A total of 120 patients who underwent painless colonoscopy at Jiujiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 with abdominal distension were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into control group(60 cases)and observation group(60 cases)according to random number table method.The control group received routine care,while the observation group received additional intervention with Xiangfu and Raphani Seed Heat Therapy Package on the basis of routine care.The degree of abdominal distension,symptom recovery,comfort,and nursing satisfaction between two groups were compared.Results There were no statistically significant differences(P＞0.05)in the abdominal distension and comfort scores between the two groups of patients before intervention.After intervention,the abdominal distension score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The observation group had shorter initial anal exhaust time and abdominal distension relief time than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the social,cultural,and psychological comfort scores in the Kolcaba general comfort scale(GCQ)of the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with significant differences(P＜0.05).The professional skills,nursing attitude,basic introduction,response services,nursing effectiveness,satisfaction with needs,and total satisfaction scores of the observation group patients were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion In patients with abdominal distension after painless colonoscopy,intervention with Xiangfu and Raphani Seed Heat Therapy Package can alleviate the degree of abdominal distension,accelerate symptom recovery,and help improve patient comfort.Patients are more satisfied with the nursing method.
