Visual analysis of the impact of traditional Chinese medicine on the quality of life of cancer patients based on CiteSpace
Objective To visually analyze the effects of traditional Chinese medicine on the quality of life of cancer patients by bibliometrics,and to summarize and analyze the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of cancer patients.Methods The relevant literature on traditional Chinese medicine treatment of cancer patients collected on CNKI and Web of Science from January 1,1985 to December 31,2023 was retrieved,and the bibliometrics tool CiteSpace software was used to visually analyze the number of publications,countries,authors,institutions and keywords of the relevant litera-ture.Results A total of 89 Chinese literatures and 10 English literatures were included.The number of published papers in the field of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of cancer showed a fluctuating trend,among which China was the country with the most published papers,reflecting China's activity in this field.The English literature grew between 2017 and 2021,but there was a lack of extensive inter-agency collaboration.At present,the research keywords of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of cancer patients are gradually transitioning from traditional Chinese medicine,cancer and tumor to tra-ditional Chinese medicine external treatment and cancer pain.Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine plays an important role in improving the quality of life of cancer patients,and its comprehensive treatment concept and efficacy have been veri-fied in clinical practice.
