Application of continuous blood purification combined with Reduced Glu-tathione in patients with severe liver injury and its effect on inflammatory indexes
Objective To explore the application of continuous blood purification combined with Reduced Glutathione in patients with severe liver injury and its effect on inflammatory indexes.Methods A total of 60 patients with emergency se-vere liver injury admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Shangrao Municipal Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Reduced Glutathione,and the observation group was treated with continuous blood purification combined with Reduced Glutathione.The clinical efficacy,liver func-tion indexes,serum inflammatory factor levels,model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)and Child-Pugh score of liver function were compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of alanine transaminase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST),total bilirubin(TBil),serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),inter-leukin-6(IL-6),MELD and liver function Child-Pugh score in observation group were lower than those in control group,serum albumin(ALB)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)levels were higher than those of control group,the differences were statis-tically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Continuous blood purification combined with Reduced Glutathione in the treat-ment of severe liver injury can effectively improve the clinical effect,promote the recovery of liver function,reduce the in-flammatory response of patients,and reduce the damage to liver cells.
