Clinical value of Yupingfeng Formula Granules combined with Gabapentin in patients with pruritus of skin on maintenance hemodialysis
Objective To explore the clinical value of Yupingfeng Formula Granules combined with Gabapentin in patients with of skin on maintenance hemodialysis(MHD).Methods A total of 60 patients with MHD skin pruritis admitted to the Jiujiang Third People's Hospital from May to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the observation group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases).Both groups received routine hemodialysis and basic western medicine treatment,the control group was treated with oral Gabapentin Capsules,and the observation group was treated with Yupingfeng Formula Granules for 8 weeks.The clinical efficacy,serum immune function indexes and levels of inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in T lymphocyte,immunoglobulin,C-reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin(IL-6)levels between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).The T lymphocyte and immunoglobulin levels after treatment were higher than those before treatment,and observation group were higher than those in control group,CRP and IL-6 levels were lower than those before treatment,and observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment effect of Yupingfeng Formula Granules combined with Gabapentin in MHD patients with skin pruritus is better,which is conducive to enhancing body immunity,relieving pruritus symptoms and reducing inflammation,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
