Application effect of psychological intervention in improving childbirth fear among primigravid women
Objective To investigate the application effects of psychological intervention in improving childbirth fear and maternal-infant outcomes in primiparous women.Methods A total of 200 primiparous women undergoing routine antenatal care at the Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from March 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into a control group(n=100)and a study group(n=100)according to random number table method.While the control group received standard antenatal care and health education,the study group underwent additional psychological intervention measures.The levels of childbirth fear,childbirth self-efficacy,and childbirth outcomes were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The score of fear of childbirth in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the score of self-efficacy was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The amount of postpartum blood loss in the study group was less than that in the control group,and the satisfaction of child-birth was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The gestational age of neonates in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological intervention can reduce the fear of childbirth,anxiety and depression,enhance the self-ef-ficacy of childbirth,and improve the maternal and infant outcomes of primipara.
