Objective To analyze the relationship between MRI parameters and the short-term efficacy of arthroscopic treatment in patients with frozen shoulder(FS).Methods A total of 82 patients with FS in Fengcheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients received 360°joint cap-sule release treatment under arthroscopy. After three months after treatment, ineffective patients were included in the obser-vation group and effective patients were included in the control group according to the efficacy evaluation results.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between MRI parameters and short-term efficacy of FS patients.Re-sults After treatment, the shoulder joint function and pain of 60 patients(73.17%)were effectively improved, while 22 pa-tients(26.83%)were ineffective.Anterior articular capsule edema, rotator cuff space edema, coracohumeral ligament(CHL)edema,CHL thickness, capsular space thickness, capsular fluid accumulation degree, musculi supraspinatus(SSP)retract distance and subscapularis(SSC)tendon tear ratio in observation group were higher than those of control group, with statisti-cal significances(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in subcoracoid fat triangle, shoulder bursae,SSP tendon tear and ISP tendon tear between two groups(P>0.05).The CHL thickness, the degree of capsular effusion and the tendon tear of SSC in MRI images of FS patients were positively correlated with the ineffective arthroscopic treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion MRI parameters have certain relationship with the short-term efficacy of arthroscopy in FC patients, and have certain clinical value in the evaluation of its effect.
