Objective To investigate the application effect of moxibustion therapy combined with acupoint massage on sep-tic patients with feeding intolerance.Methods A total of 80 patients with sepsis feeding intolerance admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected as research objects.Among them,40 patients admitted from January 2022 to January 2023 were included in the control group,and 40 pa-tients admitted from February 2023 to January 2024 were included in the study group.The control group received routine intervention,and the study group received moxibustion therapy combined with acupoint massage based on routine interven-tion.The intervention effect,gastrointestinal function index,nutritional index and prognosis index were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 7 days of intervention,the intestinal ringing score,gastrointestinal dys-function score and abdominal pressure in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the serum albumin and serum total protein levels were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The duration of ICU stay in the study group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was sta-tistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion therapy combined with acupoint massage can improve gastroin-testinal function,nutritional status and prognosis of patients with sepsis feeding intolerance.
