Objective To explore the psychological resilience of the primary caregivers of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction and its influencing factors.Methods A total of 88 elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital from January 2021 to July 2023 were selected,and 88 family members of their main caregivers were investigated with general information and psychological resilience scale.The single factor analysis combined with multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the mental resilience and its influencing factors of the main caregivers of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction.Results The total score of psychological resilience of 88 elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction was(63.40±6.58).There were no statistical significances in the psychological resilience scores of the main caregivers under different age,occupation,marital status,educational level,religious belief,total annual family income,type of medical insurance,relationship with patients,and understanding of patients'disease(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the psychological resilience scores of the main caregivers under different genders,caregiving stress,caregiving duration,self-efficacy and coping styles(P<0.05).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that women(β=0.246,t=4.627,95%CI=2.515-6.308),had less caregiving stress(β=0.334,t=4.072,95%CI=2.804-8.161),and caregiving duration<1 month(β=0.225,t=3.024,95%CI=2.804-5.999),high self-efficacy(β=0.224,t=4.025,95%CI=1.846-5.454),positive coping style(β=0.231,t=3.531,95%CI=1.666-5.968)were independent influencing factors of mental resilience of primary caregivers of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction(P<0.05).Conclusion The psychological resilience of primary caregivers of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction was affected by gender,caregiving stress,caregiving duration,self-efficacy and coping style.Emphasis should be placed on psychological support and education for caregivers,improve their self-efficacy,and guide them to adopt positive coping strategies to enhance their psychological resilience.
