Exploring the effect of improving the ability of junior nurses to care for traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and care ability based on flipped classroom combined case teaching mode
Objective To explore the application effect of flipped classroom combined with case education teaching mode in improving the ability of junior nurses to care for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome differentiation and care abili-ty.Methods A total of 120 nurses in Nanchang Hongdu Hospital of TCM from January 2020 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects,and divided into control group 1(n=40),control group 2(n=40)and observation group(n=40)according to random number table method.The flipped classroom teaching mode was implemented in the control group 1,the case teaching mode was implemented in control group 2,and the flipped classroom combined case teaching mode was imple-mented in observation group.The theoretical knowledge cognition of TCM syndrome differentiation and care ability,objec-tive structured clinical operation skill level,TCM syndrome differentiation and care ability and teaching mode satisfaction of the nurses in the three groups were compared.Results The scores of TCM theory knowledge and objective structured clinical operation skill in observation group were higher than those in control group 1 and control group 2,the differences were sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of TCM syndrome differentiation and care ability and teaching mode in the observation group were higher than those in the control group 1 and the control group 2,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(P<0.017).Conclusion Flipped classroom combined case teaching mode has a good application effect in improving the ability of junior nurses in TCM syndrome differentiation and care ability,which can improve the cognition of junior nurses in TCM syndrome differentiation and care theory,improve the level of objective structured clinical operation skills,and improve their satisfaction with the teaching model.
