Objective To investigate the application effect of centralized management of disinfection supply center in cleaning and disinfection of flexible endoscope.Methods A total of 200 pieces of flexible endoscopes used in the Operating Room of Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as study objects and retrospec-tively analyzed,and they were divided into observation group(100 pieces)and control group(100 pieces)according to dif-ferent operation procedures.The observation group was sent to the disinfection supply center for centralized treatment after use,and the endoscopic decontamination machine was used to receive and measure leakage,clean and disinfect,dry,check and maintain,pack,sterilize,store and distribute at the endoscopic cleaning workstation.The control group was received by the operating room itself after use,and leakage detection,cleaning and disinfection,drying,inspection and packaging,steril-ization,and use.Visual inspection combined with endoscopic visual detection system and adenosine triphosphate(ATP)bio-luminescence rapid detection method were used to detect the cleaning and disinfection quality,and the return washing rate of unqualified cleaning and disinfection quality was calculated and compared.The functional integrity of the two groups of flexible endoscopes was examined,and the functional integrity rate was calculated and compared.Results The return wash-ing rate of the observation group using visual inspection method combined with endoscopic visual inspection system detec-tion method was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The return washing rate of ATP bioluminescence rapid detection in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The functional integrity rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The cleaning and disinfection of flexible endoscopes are managed centrally by the disinfection and supply center,which improves the cleaning and disin-fection quality of flexible endoscopes,ensures the high functional integrity of flexible endoscopes,and ensures the safety of patients.It is worthy of promotion.
