Objective To retrospectively analyze the use of Chinese patent medicine for colds in Zhanlan Road Community Health Service Center,Xicheng District,Beijing,to analyze the categories and causes of irrational prescriptions,and to pro-vide reference for the standardized and rational use of Chinese patent medicine for colds in community hospitals.Methods By using the retrospective statistical method,the use of Chinese patent medicine for colds in Zhanlan Road Community Health Service Center,Xicheng District,Beijing,in 2022 was statistically analyzed and analyzed by Excel,and management countermeasures were formulated.Results Among the 24 kinds of Chinese patent medicine for colds,heat-clearing and detoxicating prescription accounted for 29.17％,formula for relieving superficies syndrome with pungent and cool natrued drugs accounted for 20.83％;9 kinds contained toxic ingredients;only 4 kinds of drug utilization index(DUI)were not equal to 1;the irrational types of prescriptions were unsuitable indications,unsuitable usage and dosage,unsuitable repeated med-ication,unsuitable combination therapy and unsuitable medication course.Conclusion Chinese medicine is widely used in cold treatment.It is recommended to use management methods such as classification management and formulating inappro-priate use of lists to improve the rationality of medication and ensure the safety of patients'medication.
