Objective To evaluate the pedagogy of practice-while-watching(PWW)combined feedback device in basic life support training.Methods A total of 60 participants in Children's Hospital of Soochow University from January to June 2023 were included in cardiopulmonary resuscitation training in basic life support,and they were divided into the traditional teaching group(n=30)and the combined group(n=30)according to gender matching method.The traditional teaching group adopted the traditional instructor-led teaching mode for cardiopulmonary resuscitation training,and the combined group adopted the PWW combined feedback device for cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.Simp ad Plus was used to collect various parameters respectively,and the results of cardiopulmonary resuscitation operation assessment and the satisfaction and effectiveness evaluation of students in the two groups were evaluated.Results After training,the average pressing depth,effective pressing fraction,pressing percentage and average tidal volume of the two groups were better than before training,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall score of combined group was higher than that of traditional teaching group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of students assessed as excellent in the combined group was higher than that in the traditional teaching group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction and effectiveness of training in the combined group were higher than those in the traditional teaching group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in average compression times,2 min ventilation times and hand placement(P>0.05).Conclusion PWW combined feedback device can help participants quickly grasp the core elements of cardiopulmonary resuscitation,effectively improve the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation,and improve the satisfaction of participants,which is worthy of further promotion in clinical and teaching work.
