Evaluation value of serum amyloid A,procalcitonin and interleukin-6 in the diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with pulmonary infection and the initial treatment effect of Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Sodium
Objective To investigate the value of serum amyloid A(SAA),procalcitonin(PCT)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with pulmonary infection and effect evaluation of initial treatment with Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Sodium(Tazocin). Methods Sixty patients with COPD who were admitted to Shangrao People's Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected. They were divided into the infected group(n=37)and the uninfected group(n=23)according to the presence or absence of pulmonary infection. The two groups were treated with routine treatment, and the infected group was treated with intravenous injection of Terezin on this basis, and the therapeutic effect was evaluated 5 days later. The infected group were divided into an effective group(n=30)and an ineffective group(n=7)according to the treatment effect, serum SAA,PCT and IL-6 levels were compared between the groups. The application value of serum SAA,PCT and IL-6 levels in the diagnosis of COPD complicated with pulmonary in-fection using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve, and the relationship between various indicators in the infec-tion group and the initial treatment effect of Tezhixing was analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis. Results Serum levels of SAA,PCT and IL-6 in infected group were higher than those in non-infected group, with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of SAA,PCT and IL-6 alone and in com-bination with COPD and pulmonary infection were 0.844,0.877,0.873 and 0.921,respectively,and the combined diagnostic efficacy was the highest, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 81.08%in the infected group, and the serum levels of SAA,PCT and IL-6 in the ineffective group were higher than those in the effective group, with statistical significances(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the serum levels of SAA,PCT and IL-6 in COPD patients with pulmonary infection were negatively correlated with the initial treatment effect of tergixin, with statistical significances(r=-0.767,-0.877,-0.916,respectively,P<0.05).Conclusion Serum SAA,PCT,and IL-6 levels in patients with COPD and pulmonary infection are high. The three are significantly correlated with the effect of initial treatment with Tazocin, which provides reference for clinical diagnosis and efficacy evaluation.
