Clinical study on the combination of Jianpi Qushi Decoction and Chuan-bai Zhiyang Lotion in the treatment of pediatric eczema with spleen defi-ciency and dampness accumulation type
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Jianpi Qushi Decoction combined with Chuanbai Zhiyang Lotion on children with spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type eczema.Methods A total of 68 children with spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type eczema treated in Jiujiang Third People's Hospital from May 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 34 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Chuanbai Zhiyang Lotion,and the observation group was treated with Jianpi Qushi Decoction on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks.Clinical efficacy,eczema area and severity index(EASI)score,itch degree score,traditional Chinese medicine symp-tom score,inflammatory factor level,recurrence rate and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the recurrence rate was lower than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in EASI score,itch degree score,traditional Chinese medicine symptom score and interleukin-4(IL-4)and interleukin-10(IL-10)levels between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).EASI score,itch degree score,traditional Chinese medicine symptom score and IL-4 and IL-10 levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treat-ment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).No significant adverse reactions were observed in both groups.Conclusion The combination of Jianpi Qushi Decoction and Chuanbai Zhiyang Lotion has a definite therapeutic ef-fect on children with spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type eczema.It can reduce the area of eczema,alleviate the degree of itching,and reduce the recurrence rate.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
