In this paper,we retrospectively selected an elderly patient with type 2 diabetes who underwent multi-level lumbar comprehensive surgery.Preoperative blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were higher than normal values,and the blood glucose level was controlled by adjusting diet and other measures.Postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage and obvious accompanying symptoms,after the use of low head and high feet,adjust the wound drainage ball state,auricular points plaster therapy on Shenmen,Endocrine points,strengthen emotional nursing and diet guidance,postoperative reha-bilitation exercise guidance,personalized discharge guidance,close communication and other nursing measures,the patient was discharged satisfactorily.This paper focuses on the preoperative and postoperative nursing process of integrated tradi-tional Chinese and western medicine.The number of people suffering from lumbar diseases is increasing year by year.Cere-brospinal fluid leakage after posterior lumbar comprehensive surgery is a common complication.It is very important to fully prepare for surgery before surgery,and to closely observe and provide care based on person after surgery,which can not only alleviate the discomfort of cerebrospinal fluid leakage,effectively reduce the pain of patients and promote the rehabilitation of patients,but also improve the quality of nursing and enhance nursing satisfaction.
