Objective To investigate the application effect of specialized restraint device in pediatric patients undergoing alveolar lavage.Methods A total of 60 children who were admitted to Ganzhou Woman and Children's Health Care Hospital from April 2021 to July 2022 and planned to be treated with electronic bronchoscope alveolar lavage were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into control group and observation group according to the method of drawing lots,with 30 cases in each group.The children in the control group used traditional restraint methods during the treatment,and the children in the observation group used specialized restraint device for children with alveolar lavage during the treatment.The heart rate,blood pressure,and blood oxygen saturation of the two groups were compared 2 hours before lavage(T0),immedi-ately after the beginning of lavage treatment(T1),1 minute after the beginning of lavage treatment(T2),3 minutes after the beginning of lavage treatment(T3),and immediately after the end of lavage treatment(T4).And the operation time of alveolar lavage,the cost of manpower restraint in the process of lavage treatment and the complications of children in hospital were recorded and compared betweent the two groups.Results At T1,T2,T3 and T4,the heart rate and blood pressure in the obser-vation group were lower than those in the control group,and blood oxygen saturation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The heart rate and blood pressure of the two groups at T1,T2,T3 and T4 were higher than those at T0,and the levels of blood oxygen saturation were lower than those at T0,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total operation time of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the cost of manpower restraint was lower than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The specialized restraint device for children with alveolar lavage can stabilize the vital signs of children during treatment,shorten the treatment time,reduce the labor cost of restraint,and reduce the incidence of complications.
