Objective To explore the effect of doctor-nurse integrated nursing on patients with chronic secretory otitis me-dia after surgery.Methods A total of 140 patients with chronic secretory otitis media who underwent surgical treatment in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery,Zhongshan Hospital Xiamen University from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 70 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing mode,while pa-tients in the observation group were given doctor-nurse integrated nursing mode.The hearing level(air conduction hearing threshold and air-bone gap)and psychological status(self-rating depression scale[SDS]and self-rating anxiety scale[SAS])were observed and compared between the two groups before and after nursing.The incidence of complications and nursing satisfaction were observed and compared between the two groups after nursing.Six months after nursing,the quality of life(chronic otitis media outcome test[COMOT-15])was compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the air con-duction hearing threshold and air-bone gap of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the SDS score and SAS score were lower than those of the control group,the total incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group,and the satisfaction was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(P＜0.05).Six months after nursing,the COMOT-15 score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The doctor-nurse integrated nursing on pa-tients with chronic secretory otitis media after surgery can improve the hearing level of patients,reduce the occurrence of complications,reduce the degree of anxiety,depression and other psychological disorders,improve the nursing satisfaction of patients,and improve the long-term quality of life of patients,which has important value in the treatment of chronic secreto-ry otitis media and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
