Metabolic disfunction-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)has become the leading cause of chronic liver disease in our country and around the world,affecting more than a quarter of the adult population.Early diagnosis of MAFLD has important clinical significance in preventing the progression of liver-related diseases and complications.In this review,we summarize the research progress in the non-invasive assessment of MAFLD for clinicians to choose appropriate methods for clinical practice.
