Metabolic Syndrome(MS)is a complex disorder involving multiple metabolic abnormalities, often associated with insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and increased cardiovascular risk.Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing(CPET),as a tool for comprehensive evaluation of cardiopulmonary function, plays a crucial role in assessing the exercise capacity of MS patients, identifying potential factors of exercise intolerance, and in the personalized development of exercise prescriptions. This review aims to explore the specific application of CPET in the formulation of exercise prescriptions for MS patients by summarizing relevant research and clinical practice experiences.
