Effect of operating room precision nursing based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory on negative emotions and surgical cooperation of patients undergoing ovarian cancer surgery
Objective:To explore the effect of operating room precision nursing based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory on negative emotions and surgical cooperation of patients undergoing ovarian cancer surgery. Methods:Using the random number table method,98 ovarian cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment in the hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 49 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention in the operating roomwhile the observation group received precision nursing intervention based on Maslow's hierarchy of needsin the operating room.General surgical conditions, negative emotions, surgical cooperation and nursing satisfaction of two groups were compared. Results:Postoperative bleeding volume, postoperative exhaust time and postoperative urinary catheter indwelling time in the observation group were significantly smaller and shorter than those in the control group(t=3.511,2.383,3.155;P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in surgery time between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the anxiety scale scores and trait anxiety scale scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(t=4.674,4.410;P<0.001).Surgical cooperation of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(x2=4.653,P<0.05),and total nursing satisfaction score was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=2.808,P<0.01).Conclusion:Applying Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory in operating room precision nursing can improve negative emotions in patients undergoing ovarian cancer surgery, enhance their surgical cooperation and nursing satisfaction, and promote postoperative recovery.
