Objective:To investigate the impact of acceptance and commitment therapy(ACT)-based psychologi-cal intervention on the psychological resilience and coping strategies of patients with maxillofacial trauma. Methods:A total of 198 individuals who sustained maxillofacial injuries were identified and selected from the patient database of our hospital, encompassing admissions recorded from May 2021 through May 2024,The grouping was conducted uti-lizing the random number table method.99 patients in the control group received standard postoperative care, while 99 patients in the study group underwent ACT intervention. The psychological resilience, coping style, hope level and quality of life of the two groups were compared before and after intervention. Results:Subsequent to the intervention, there was a marked enhancement in the psychological resilience, hope level, quality of life scores, and total scores for both groups.Notably, the study group exhibited greater improvements than the control group(t=5.117,4.979,4.160,5.437,5.117,4.979,4.160,6.203,4.668,6.004,5.044,6.168,10.815,7.012,6.851,8.071,8.836;P<0.05).The positive face score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the avoidance and yield score were lower than that of the control group(t=4.203,5.785,5.850;P<0.05).Conclusion:Psychological intervention based on ACT has been demonstrated to effectively enhance the psychological resilience and coping strategies of pa-tients with maxillofacial trauma, empowering them to actively confront their condition and improve their overall quality of life.
