Impact of comprehensive intervention based on multidisciplinary cooperation model on the psychological and nutritional status of postoperative patients with esophageal cancer
Objective:To explore the impact of multidisciplinary collaboration(MDT)on the psychological and nu-tritional status of postoperative patients with esophageal cancer through comprehensive intervention. Methods:A total of 120 postoperative patients with esophageal cancer treated in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into MDT group and conventional group, with 60 cases in each group. The conventional group received conventional intervention mode, while the MDT group received MDT mode for comprehensive intervention. We compared the psychological status, nutritional status, quality of life, and satisfaction of two groups of patients be-fore and after intervention. Results:Compared with the control group, the psychological status indicators SAS and SDS scores of the MDT group were significantly lower(t=5.446,10.871;P<0.001).The nutritional status indica-tors transferrin(TF),albumin(ALB),and prealbumin(PA)levels of the MDT group were higher than those of the control group(t=8.492,3.358,2.231;P<0.05).The scores of the physical health ability, psychological health, cancer burden, and social ability dimensions of the MDT group's quality of life were higher than those of the control group(t=7.746,10.867,14.674,32.460;P<0.05),and the satisfaction of the MDT group was higher than that of the control group(x2=8.292,P<0.01).Conclusion:The comprehensive intervention of MDT can effectively improve the psy-chological status, nutritional status, and quality of life of postoperative patients with esophageal cancer, and increase satisfaction. It is worth promoting and applying.
