Promotion effect of Stair model group psychological intervention on self-acceptance of college students with financial difficulties
Objective:Through empirical intervention,this paper studies the effect of applying Stair model self-ac-ceptance group psychological counseling on improving self-acceptance of college students with financial difficulties.Methods:A convenient sampling method was used to select 12 students from the experimental group and 13 students from the control group who had low level of acceptance.The experimental group was provided with Stair model self-acceptance group psychological counseling once a week for 8 weeks,and the control group was not subject to any intervention.The pre-test and post-test design of the experimental group and the control group were adopted.Self-acceptance questionnaire(SAQ)was used to measure before and after the study.Results:The self-acceptance of the subjects in the experimental group after intervention was significantly higher than that before intervention(t=-4.36,P<0.01),and there was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test in the control group at the same time(P>0.05);After intervention,the self-acceptance level of subjects in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(t=3.06,P<0.01),while the self-acceptance level of subjects in the two groups was the same in the pretest(P>0.05).Conclusion:Stair model self-acceptance group psychological counse-ling can effectively improve the self-acceptance level of college students with financial difficulties.
