Current status and prospect of China Journal of Health Psychology:Based on the analysis of papers published from 2019 to 2024
Objective:To systematically analyze papers published on China Journal of Health Psychology from 2019 to 2024(January-September),reveal the current status of papers published on the journal,and propose the develop-ment direction and strategy of the journal accordingly,so as to promote the high-quality development of the journal.Methods:Papers published on the journal from 2019 to 2024 were accurately searched in the CNKI database,and a total of 2246 academic papers were analyzed from four aspects:Disciplines,themes,columns and keywords.Results:The papers focused on disciplines such as educational theory and management,clinical medicine,psychiatry,psychol-ogy,basic medicine as well as pediatrics,concentrate in themes such as mediating role,psychological resilience,psy-chological state,mental health,coping style,and quality of life.Meanwhile,the columns of papers mainly included child and adolescent psychology,psychology and disease,mental health,occupational psychology,and overview,etc.The keywords of papers mainly included depression,college students,psychological resilience,mental health,quality of life,mediating role,social support,coping style,psychological status,and anxiety,etc.Conclusion:The disciplines,themes,columns,and keywords of the papers concentrate in the field of traditional health psychology,and less atten-tion is paid to the health promotion orientation of health psychology,as well as the impact of social and cultural fac-tors on health.What's more,the research subjects and methods of the papers are relatively limited.In the future,it is necessary to enrich the research themes and research contents of the papers,expand the research subjects of the pa-pers,and it is also necessary to optimize the columns and disciplines of the papers.Meanwhile,mixed study design and multiple research methods should be adopted,research concepts of health psychology should be updated,and the applied research of health psychology should be strengthened.
