The population situation in China is undergoing significant and transformative changes,with the issue of population structure becoming increasingly prominent.Population aging has become a fundamental national condition that must be addressed for a considerable period of time in the future.This paper provides an overview of the causes,trends,and characteristics of population aging in China.It analyzes the health challenges posed by population aging and emphasizes the need for the healthcare service system to be prepared and adaptable to the current and future needs of the elderly population,including the demand for vaccine immunization services.
