Objective To investigate the current status of e-health literacy and health-promoting lifestyle of high school students,and to explore the correlation between the two,so as to provide a basis for the subsequent development of health promotion programs for high school students.Methods A survey was conducted on 680 graduating seniors from the class of 2022 in 252 schools from 21 cities in Guangdong Province,using a self-compiled general information questionnaire,a high school student e-health literacy questionnaire,and a health-promoting lifestyle scale.Results The total score of e-health literacy among high school students was(82.73±13.81)points,with an average score of(4.35±0.73)points.The total score of health-promotinglifestylewas(133.94±19.26)points,withanaveragescoreof(3.35±0.48)points.Therewasa positive correlation between the score of e-health literacy and the total score as well as the scores of each dimension of health-promoting lifestyle(r=0.35-0.67,all P<0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the increase of e-health literacy and mobile phone time was an independent influencing factor for health-promoting lifestyle(P<0.05).Conclusions The health-promoting lifestyle of high school students is generally at an excellent level and is closely related to e-health literacy.Family members and schools should provide correct guidance on the use of electronic devices for high school students and take active intervention measures to improve their practical skills in electronic health,thereby helping them maintain a healthy lifestyle.
