Objective To explore the impact of a Mother and Child Health Handbook App on the physical, nutritional, and cognitive development of children in their early years. Methods A total of 200 infants and young children who received health management through medical records in a community hospital were selected as the research subjects. These participants were followed up for a period of 24 months. To observe and compare the physical development indicators, incidence of weak constitution, and psychological and behavioral development between two groups:70 infants and young children who received routine healthcare management(control group)and 130 infants and young children who used the Mother and Child Health Handbook App(observation group). Results The observation group showed higher body weight, height, and head circumference compared to the control group. The incidence of weak constitution(5.38%)and detection rate of intellectual developmental abnormalities(1.54%)were lower in the observation group compared to the control group(14.29%and 8.57%,respectively).These differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The utilization of the Mother and Child Health Handbook App as a tool in early childhood health management has been found to promote physical growth and intellectual development in children, while also reducing the incidence of weak constitution.
