Evaluation of the effect of intelligent TCM health management applied to the management of type 2 diabetes patients
Objective To explore the intervention effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)artificial intelligence technology on type 2 diabetes patients and provide scientific basis for diabetes community health management. Methods A total of 206 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each consisting of 103 cases. Both groups received TCM health management.Additionally, the observation group was provided with a monthly TCM artificial intelligence health assessment to guide patients in self-health management based on the assessment results. The effectiveness was evaluated after 12 months of intervention. Results After the intervention, both groups showed a decrease in blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood lipid levels, with the observation group having lower levels than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the awareness of diabetes and self-management efficacy in both groups improved. The scores for the observation group were(79.98±8.01)points and(461.25±44.59)points,while the control group scores were(77.41±7.64)points and(436.62±41.64)points,with statistically significant differences between the two groups(all P<0.05).Conclusions The TCM artificial intelligence health assessment model can more effectively improve the blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood lipid levels of diabetic patients, enhance their level of health knowledge, and promote the development of healthy living habits among residents.
