The Communist Party of China(CPC)espouses a Marxist philosophical view of the world.The empiri-cal basis of this worldview was created by Mao Zedong during the Jinggangshan struggle,while its theory was construc-ted by Mao Zedong during the Yan'an period.During the Yan'an period,Mao Zedong carefully appraised Soviet Marx-ist philosophy's political and revolutionary works as well as its principles of Marxist philosophy conveyed in Soviet text-books.Mao Zedong read the political and revolutionary works of Soviet Marxist philosophy in order to solve the problem of the path of the Chinese revolution.Mao Zedong drew fully on Lenin's ideas about the world proletarian revolution,analyzed the real conditions of the Chinese revolution in terms of the laws of the world revolution,posed the problem of the leadership of the Chinese revolution,discussed the relationship between the Chinese revolution and the world revolu-tion,talked about the idea of establishing a new state apparatus,and He outlined the future prospects of China's socialist revolution and constructed the CPC's view of socialist revolution.Mao Zedong read Soviet textbooks on the principles of Marxist philosophy in order to solve the problem of the methodology of the Chinese revolution.Mao Zedong drew on the essence of the ideas of dialectical materialism,and refined the whole set of methods of investigation and research summarized during the struggle in the Jinggangshan from the heights of the philosophical worldview and methodology,and created Chinese Marxist philosophical theories with the epistemology of practice as their core.Mao Zedong's notes on reading from the Yan'an period document his thought process in developing the Marxist philosophical approach of the CPC,showcasing the cultural identity of CPC's Marxist philosophy.
