Digital Transformation and Innovation Performance of Manufacturing Enterprises:The Mediating Role of Human Capital and the Moderating Role of Dynamic Capabilities
With the rapid development of the digital economy,manufacturing enterprises have gradually invested in the wave of digital transformation,but whether digital technology can enable enterprises to innovate and the path between the two is still unclear.In this paper,human capital and dynamic capability variables are introduced to build an interac-tion model between digital transformation and innovation performance,and Chinese A-share listed manufacturing com-panies from 2013 to 2022 are selected as samples for empirical testing.The research finds that digital transformation has an inverted U-shaped impact on enterprise innovation performance;Human capital plays an inverted U-shaped mediating role between enterprise digital transformation and innovation performance.The absorptive ability,adaptive ability and in-novation ability of dynamic capability all play a moderating role in the relationship between digital transformation and in-novation performance.The inverted U-shaped effect of digitalization on enterprise innovation performance is significant in the eastern and central regions,large and medium-sized enterprises,state-owned enterprises,and private enterprises.The conclusions of this paper enrich the research on the nonlinear relationship between digital transformation and enter-prise innovation,and provide relevant implications for enterprises'digital transformation strategic decision.
