Gao Qinghai's Academic Contribution to Social Development Theory
Gao Qinghai is the first scholar who put forward the idea that China needs its own theory of social devel-opment,and took the lead to study social development theory in domestic academia.He claimed that social development is ultimately human development,and with this as the core,formed the philosophy theory of social development based on human development,human self-realization and self-completion,which provided the theoretical basis of Marxism dialectical relationship of human and social development for deepening the theoretical study of social development.He promoted the domestic academic research on social development theory,and led his team to form a more influential Jida(Jilin University)School of social development theory research in China.He and his team have expanded and deepened the study of social development theory into Marxist sociological theory,social development and economic development,social development and cultural development,social development quality and new social strata,social development and the Chinese model.They have conducted a series of research with significant and influential results.Their research re-sults have established the social development theory of nativism,pluralism,humanism and harmonism on China's social development,which has had an important influence at home and abroad.
