The rational construction of the disciplinary system is the solid foundation for the development of the In-ternational Chinese Education discipline.It serves as the fundamental support for researching the academic system and discourse system of International Chinese Education,playing a foundational role in the development of the International Chinese Education field.With linguistics and education as its basis,International Chinese Education exhibits a clear in-terdisciplinary nature and possesses both academic and professional attributes.The disciplinary system of International Chinese Education is a multi-level structural framework based on academic knowledge,with each level having its own functions.The construction of this system is strongly supported by national strategies,societal needs,and its own devel-opment of the discipline.The primary foundations for its construction are reflected in three main aspects:national policy planning,diverse Chinese language needs across different countries,and the enhancement of the discipline's status.The construction of the discipline system of international Chinese education mainly consists of three subsystems:theoretical system,practical system,and governance system.Only by continuously enhancing strategic thinking,systematic think-ing,and innovative thinking can we achieve forward-looking planning and holistic consideration.This will enable the sustainable,high-quality,and innovative development of the discipline and practice of international Chinese education.
