This article quantitatively evaluates the teaching quality of tourism management courses in universities from the perspective of students.Students majoring in tourism management in a certain university in Guangdong Province are selected as the research object,and the SERVQUAL model is used to evaluate the current situation of teaching quality of tourism management courses.Combined with IPA matrix analysis,the aim is to identify the problems in classroom teaching.The research conclusions are as follows:there are some problems in the teaching quality of tourism management,such as the limited range of courses to choose from,new teachers are not familiar with teaching design,lack of practicality in textbooks and courses,and delayed feedback from teachers after class.To this end,schools can establish a diversified curriculum system,attach importance to the training of new teachers'classroom teaching skills,expand practical teaching channels,establish a mechanism for after-school teacher-student communication and interaction to cultivate high-quality talents who adapt to the development of the tourism industry.
