Under the background of and"big reform,big adjustment,and big development"of J U-niversity,this paper studies the practical problems existing in the construction of academic atmos-phere in the College of Marine Equipment and Mechanical Engineering of J University.In view of the problems such as absenteeism,failing courses and low professional identity,the college take basic measures such as strict class attendance,strict control of course make-up rate,improving the enthu-siasm of subject competitions,and improving the enrollment rate,so as to improve the overall aca-demic atmosphere of the college,and provide reference for the construction of excellent academic at-mosphere of engineering colleges of universities.
