In recent years,students'sense of gain in ideological and political courses has received the attention of researchers.Systematically sorting out and analyzing the research results on this topic is of great significance to the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in colleges and uni-versities.This paper selects 250 journal literatures on college students'sense of gain from ideological and political courses published since 2016,and uses information visualization software CiteSpace to conduct bibliometric analysis.The results show that General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the Symposium of Ideological and Political Theory in Schools has stimulated more attention from the aca-demic community to the students'sense of gain in ideological and political courses,thus giving rise to a peak in the number of publications since 2019.Most of the institutions and most of the authors conduct independent research,and few collaborative research is carried out.The high quality papers are mainly published in professional journals in the field of ideological and political education,and are rarely published in other comprehensive social science journals.The research results focus on the basic theories,value functions,influencing factors and improvement paths of college students'sense of gain in ideological and political courses.The existing research has produced a number of high-quality results,deepening the understanding of ideological and political courses and ideological and political teaching theories,but there are some shortcomings.Future research should focus on enhan-cing the influence of results,strengthening cooperative research,deepening basic theoretical re-search,expanding research methods,and focusing on the pertinence of research objects,hoping to explore a theoretical system for Chinese-style ideological and political education.
