Content-based Instruction(CBI)is a teaching mode that combines language learning with subject knowledge learning.This model focuses on subject knowledge information and improves the application ability of the target language in the process of subject knowledge learning.In China,CBI model has become a research hotspot in the field of education.This paper aims to put forward new directions and methods for future research by analyzing the trends of CBI English teaching in China in the past decade.In order to achieve this goal,this paper takes CNKI as the data source and focu-ses on the domestic research papers on CBI English teaching in the past decade(2014-2023).Through a systematic analysis of the publication status,publication type,research subject,research object and research method,this paper summarizes the current situation of domestic research on CBI in the past decade,analyzes the causes of the problem,puts forward reasonable suggestions,enri-ches the research methods,deepens the research direction,and further improves the compatibility between English teaching and economic and social development in China.
