Study on the effect of inlet pressure on the inner surface of valve sleeve processed by abrasive grain flow
The inner surface of the valve sleeve is polished by the abrasive flow precision machining method. In order to analyze the effect of inlet pressure and abrasive concentration on the inner surface of the valve sleeve by abrasive flow machining, numerical simulation is performed to analyze the solid-liquid two-phase abrasive flow machining process with the valve sleeve as the research object.By analyzing the wall shear force and pressure on the inner surface of the valve sleeve under different inlet pressures and abrasive concentrations,it is found that the wall shear force on the inner surface of the valve sleeve increases gradually with the increase of inlet pressure. With the increase of abrasive concentration, the wall shear force and pressure on the inner surface of the valve sleeve gradually decrease, and the pressure decrease is not obvious. When the abrasive from the large hole flow through the small hole, the wall shear force increases, the cutting effect of the abrasive particles on the inner surface of the valve sleeve increases, and the surface integrity obtained is better, which lays the foundation for the development of abrasive flow precision processing technology.
