A study of the effect of inlet pressure on the inner surface of a fine elbow processed by an abrasive grain flow
Fine bends are important parts in automobile engines and other fields, and the quality of traditional machining is poor,so the fine bends are precision machined by abrasive flow.In order to analyze the effects of inlet pressure and abrasive concentration on the inner surface of the fine elbow, the solid-liquid two-phase abrasive flow machining process is analyzed by numerical simulation with the fine elbow as the research object.By analyzing the size of the pressure and wall shear force on the inner surface of the pipe under different inlet pressures,it is found that the pressure and wall shear force on the inner surface of the pipe increase gradually with the increase of inlet pressure.By analyzing the size of the pressure and wall shear on the inner surface of the pipe under different abrasive concentrations,it is found that with the increase of abrasive concentration, the change of wall shear and pressure on the inner surface of the pipe is small, and the effect of abrasive concentration on the processing of the pipe by abrasive flow is small.
