Strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese nation as a community is the necessary path to promote national unity and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Science and engineering colleges play a crucial role in cultivating high-quality technical talents.Considering the characteristics of the students in science and engineering colleges,this paper analyzes the necessity and challenges of fostering the consciousness of the Chinese nation as a community.It focuses on deepening the integration of the consciousness of the Chinese nation as a community into ideological and political work,which includes exploring the practical logic,paradigm of the work and the effective approaches of ideological and political work in order to establish a practical pathway for multi-party collaboration and targeted education.
