The ideological and political courses in colleges serve as the main channel and platform for the ideological education of college students.It is imperative to carry out patriotism education focusing on the sense of responsibility for the rise and fall of the nation.This paper explores how to cultivate college students with a global vision and a sense of patriotism by analyzing the relationship between patriotism and a community with a shared future for mankind and discusses the significance,content and cultivation models of patriotism education for colleges students by placing education of college students'patriotism under the broader perspective of the community with a shared future for mankind,providing theoretical and practical support for nurturing college students with a sense of global responsibility and patriotism.
