Comparative Analysis of Chlorophyll Fluorescence Parameters of Different Color Tissues in Chlorophytum capensevar
Chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of green tissue and yellow tissue in Chlorophytum capensevar were determined by Imaging-PAM.The parameters include Fo,Fm,Fv/Fm,NPQ,Y (NO) and ETR and they were analyzed by Imagingwin software.It can be used to explain the two tissues' differences in physiological level.Results showed,compared with green tissue,yellow tissue held lower relative chlorophyll content,Fo,Fm,Fv/Fm and ETR,so the yellow tissue was vulnerable to photoinhibition,while the small relative decline in NPQ and gradual decrease of Y(NO) indicated the yellow tissue itself had some protective mechanism.The paper lays foundation for functional analysis of color changed leaves of plants mutated under special circumstances.
