When the reform of the new agricultural science and the reform of undergraduate majors are synchronized,how to combine the characteristics of the university and the animal science major to continuously provide outstanding comprehensive talents of agriculture and forestry to the country is the mission of the construction of animal production major in application-oriented undergraduate universities.This paper takes the course of animal husbandry economic management in College of Animal Science and Technology in Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University as an example,combines with the internal requirements of new agricultural science and curriculum construction,in view of the problems existing in the traditional teaching mode,puts forward the corresponding reform countermeasures to constantly promote and improve the levels of animal science major construction and talent training.
